Maine Technology Institute
MTI seeks candidates for this position with experience working in technology intensive companies and an entrepreneurial outlook. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who has an interest in business development and finance and wants to help grow start-up and existing companies in Maine. The position is a professional member of the MTI Business Innovation team and reports to MTI's Business Innovation Program Manager.

This position works closely with the Manager and Business Innovation team members to administer MTI's Business Innovation funding and commercialization support program and to conduct outreach in Maine's business community to increase quality deal flow and advance entrepreneurship and innovation across Maine. As a member of this team, the individual works with the Manager, other Specialists and Program Assistant to administer funding and other program activity, and coordinates with other members of the MTI team to make connections across complementary activities supported by MTI. In addition, this individual works with selected MTI portfolio companies to monitor project milestones, increase the likelihood of successful commercialization, improve the return on MTI’s investment and generate a positive economic impact across Maine.
