Reminder: Deadline for 2015 Regional Innovation Strategies Applications October 5
As a reminder, the closing date for applications to the Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS) program is Monday, October 5. A program of the EDA’s Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the 2015 RIS Program Competition includes $10 million to support two unique grant opportunities:
- The i6 Challenge, a national competition based on the most impactful national models for startup creation, innovation, and commercialization; and,
- Seed Fund Support, which provides funding for technical assistance to support the feasibility, planning, formation, or launch of cluster-based seed capital funds that are offered to innovation-based, growth-oriented startup companies in exchange for equity.
